My retelling on the Three little pigs

The Three Little Pigs

One sunny morning there were three little pigs that lived on a farm. Their mum told them that they're old enough to live by themselves.
One little pig built his house out of  thick hay. The second pig built his house out of thin sticks and the third pig built his house out of heavy bricks.The third little pig house took two to three days to build his house.

The next day one bad wolf came out of the woods to get some food. The wolf saw the three little pigs’ houses. The bad wolf ran to the first little pigs house, the one that was made out of hay. The wolf  saw the first little pig in the house  through the window and said “Let me in, little pig”. The little pig said “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin. Then the wolf looked straight at the house.

He huffed and he puffed and blew the second pigs house made out of sticks in . The first little pig ran in fear to the second pigs house the one that was made out of thin sticks. The first pig screamed to the second pig “Let me in quick before I become lunch”. The second pig opened his stick door. The wolf ran after them and saw two pigs in the house  through the the stick window. The wolf said “Little pigs let me in”.  The little pigs said “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins”. The wolf  stepped in front of the stick house and he huffed and he puffed and blew the house in. The Little pigs ran to the third `Little pigs brick house. The Little pigs shouted “Let us in before we become lunch” The third little pig opened his door brick door.


The big bad wolf peak through the brick window and saw three little pigs. The big bad wolf said “Little pigs, little pigs let me in”. The pigs said “Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins”. The wolf huffed and he puffed but he couldn’t blow the brick house down so the wolf climbed the brick wall and dived down the chimney. The Little pigs heard him coming down the chimney and placed a boiling bowl of water on top of the burning fire.  The wolf went SPLASH! into the bowl and he was boiled in the bowl and he was never seen again.

This is my graph on the countries that competed in the 2012 Olympic Games. My graph tells me that USA have won the most medals.I think that USA has done very well. USA has won 46 golds, 29 silver and 29 bronze. USA has won 8 more golds than China. China has won 38 golds, 27 silver and 23 bronze. New Zealand has won 6 golds, 2 silver and 5 bronze. New Zealand has done very well and I hope they win more medals in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Valerie Adam is a famous New Zealand shot putter. She won many gold medals too. She has broke many gold medals too.

Valerie Kasanita Adam was born on 1984 in Rotarua, New Zealand. Her mum Lilika Ngauamo is Tongan and her father Sydney Adam is English. Sadly her mother died when she was 15. Her mother inspired her to be the person she is today. She was a shy child.                                             



Her first coach was Kirsten Hellier, she was a well know javelin thrower. Her second  coach was Bidder Poppe. In 2010 her third coach is Jean Pierre Egger and she has done very well with Jean Pierre Egger.


Valerie Adam went to the world youth championships in 2001, with a throw of 16.87 m. Then she went into the 2002 by becoming world junior championships with the throw of 17.73 m and won a silver medal. At the commonwealth games with the throw 17.45 m. She Finished fifth at the 2003 world championships at the age of eighteen. At Valerie Adams first Olympic games in 2004 she finished in eighth place. In all of her success she has won 12 gold medals, 5 silver and 1 bronze.

Valerie Adams has broken many world records and is still making New Zealand proud and hopefully she brings home a gold medal.

My Jean Batten Report


Introduction

Jean Batten is a New Zealand aviator and has broken world records. Jean Batten is a famous pilot. She wanted to prove that  men and women were equal.  

Family

Jean Gardner Batten was born on September 15th 1909 in Rotorua. Her mum was an actress and her dad was a dentist. She had three brothers but one died  when he was born. Her mum and dad bought her a piano so she could be a pianist but Jean sold her piano so she could get her pilot license.



Milestones/Achievement
In 1934 Jean flew from England to Australia and Australia to New Zealand. In 1935 she set another world record flying from England to Brazil. In 1936 she set another world record with a solo flight from England to New Zealand.


Sadness

Jean Batten was engaged to a man and he was a pilot as well but he died in a plane crash. Then she got engaged to another man but there was a war. The people that he was fighting were shooting his plane. Then he got hit by too many bullets so his plane crashed. A search party were sent to find and the search party finally found him but he was dead.



Death


When Jean Batten was walking to her home in Spain a dog came by her and bit her leg . It got infected and she refused to take medicine or take treatments.She later died in her hotel in Majorca. Her family found out about her death 5 years later.

My Art Reflection On My Hot Air Balloon

1. Are you pleased with your Hot Air Balloon? why / why not?   Yes because it was pretty easy doing the paper masae

2. What did you find easy when you made your Hot Air Balloon? Making the masu box.     


3. What part did you find tricky when you made your Hot Air Balloon? Gluing the ribbon on the balloon.

4. Who / What helped you when you made your Hot Air Balloon? Aryan Help me rule my lines on my white balloon  and Pace help me glue my ribbon on my balloon.


5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: Painting, Smoothing, Gluing of ribbon, Glittering and Time Management. Go slow on my painting   so I don’t mess it up.



6. What frustrated you when you made your Hot Air Balloon? Gluing the ribbon on my balloon because the ribbon was slipping.

My cable car graph

This is my cable car graph and The longest cable car that went the furthest was Tyler and his measurement was 8 metres. The shortest cable car measurement was Fines. Her cable car travelled as far as 3 metres because the balloon did not have enough air in it. The student who got the same amount was Kifi, Pace and Miss Chapman there measurement was 7 metres. My measurement was 5.96 metres.

How to make yummy chocolate Easter Eggs

How to make mouth watering chocolate  Easter Eggs


Ingredients List:
1 packet of chocolate melts

Equipment:
1 kettle
1 saucepan
* water
plate
spoon and bread and butter knives
molds
fridge
tin foil

Method

1. Fill the kettle with water and let it boil.
2. Pour water in saucepan.
3. Cover the saucepan with plate.  
4. Add chocolate melts on plate.
5. Stir the chocolate melts until melted and has no lumps.
6. Spoon the melted chocolate and scrape it into the molds and tap them down.
7. Put the molds in the fridge 4-5 hours.
8. Take the molds out of the fridge.
9.  Turn the mold over and tap the chocolate out.  
10.  Wrap the chocolate in the tin foil.

My Time At Eastern Beach

My time at Eastern Beach

Yahoo!! Finally it was Monday 27th of February. The whole school was going to the Eastern Beach picnic. My mum agreed to go to the picnic with the school, even Aryan’s grandma and Isabella’s aunty named Emi also agreed to go to the picnic with them. When I got to school in mufti Miss Paton was about to start the roll. After the roll the whole school went to the court and the court was wet because somebody stabbed the pool with a knife. The school bought some sport gear which was a softball bat, ball, volley ball and Tevita brought his rugby ball with him. The whole school went down the drive to wait for the bus. The bus was late and I started to moan. Then the bus came. I think there were 2-3 buses. Then the school went in the buses and the buses took the school to Eastern Beach. Another school was there when we got out of the bus. Our school went to a spot to have morning tea. The things I had for morning tea were my devil cupcakes. My class was waiting for our turn to have a swim. Our turn finally came, but first we had to wear life jackets and practice floating on our backs and fronts. After that we took off the life jackets and went back in the water. There were two parts to swimming in the water. The first part was the life jacket activity and the second part was swimming freely. After this I had my lunch for half an hour. After lunch I got changed back into my togs and went back in the water with my three friends Aryan, Quaid and Michael W. I was in the water for half an hour. When half an hour was up then one of the teachers called everybody in the water to come out because it was time to leave.I got changed back into my mufti and the school was heading back to the bus and this time I was sitting by my mum. When we got back to school me and my mum went to the car and went home.
I felt cold when I got in the water and tired when the bus was late and I moaned as well.
I enjoyed the whole day and playing with my friends.
